Privacy and e-mail
Howzzzt is serious about your privacy. If you give us your e-mail address we will only ever use it to talk to you ourselves; we’ll never sell it to anybody or provide it to any third party. Well, not without a valid court order anyway.
Howzzzt.co.za does not, at present, operate any e-mail lists such as newsletters, so all you’ll get from us is personal correspondence written by an actual human. If we ever do establish a newsletter we’ll contact you exactly once to give you the option to subscribe to such a newsletter, but we won’t do anything else unless you opt in.
Comments and moderation
Any comment you leave on this site becomes the sole property of the site, in line with South African law.
Comments are moderated in the interests of our readers. Spam is simply removed; offensive comments may be disemvoweled.
Advertising and commerce
This site contains advertising and links to commercial websites. We do not own, operate or control these websites and can’t guarantee their service levels, that they will maintain your privacy or that they’ll give you a good deal on whatever they are trying to sell you. While we deal only with reputable companies such as Google and Amazon.com, caveat emptor.

We reserve copyright on all entries and text on this site, but we make our photography available under Creative Commons license. See our Flickr stream for available pictures and more information. If you do use any of our images we’d appreciate it if you would let us know about it.
